A competitor to Integra Adhesives launched a new product. We wanted to remind customers of the many years of history, and confidence that working with our product offers them. In our industry, a bad colour match, or a failed seam could cost thousands, or tens-of-thousands of dollars (not to mention the damage to their reputation).
The concept was to show the competitors product in the shadow of our cartridge, while being careful to not go as far as to make it entirely clear who was being referenced. It was tricky making their logo visible enough to be seen, but obscure enough to cast some doubt.
